The Kurdistan Freedom Party accused Iran of carrying out a drone attack on a base belonging to its military wing in Iraq’s Kurdistan Region using munitions containing white phosphorus.

The party cited testimonies from injured individuals, field reports, and fires that broke out at the site.

It called on the United Nations and international institutions to open an investigation and hold Tehran accountable.
