Ukrainian authorities reported fires at several locations and said two people were injured in Kharkiv, while Kyiv’s mayor urged residents to seek shelter.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called on allies to strengthen Ukraine’s air defense systems, warning of dwindling stocks of interceptor missiles needed to repel Russian attacks.
