The Israeli occupation army announced on Sunday the discovery of Muhammad Al-Sanwar’s body, a commander in the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades and brother of Yahya Al-Sanwar, under the European Hospital in Khan Younis, following an airstrike on the site on May 13.
The army confirmed that it completed the identification process through examination of the remains retrieved from within the tunnel.
Muhammad Al-Sanwar is considered one of the prominent leaders of Hamas in the southern Gaza Strip.
