At least 20 people were injured, including four in critical condition, when a vehicle drove into a crowd on Santa Monica Boulevard in East Hollywood, officials said Saturday.
The Los Angeles Fire Department reported that the incident took place late Friday. Emergency crews treated a total of 20 victims at the scene, with four listed in critical condition and eight others suffering serious injuries. An additional 12 people sustained minor injuries.
Rescue teams immediately responded, performing triage and transporting the wounded to nearby hospitals. Authorities are still investigating the circumstances of the crash and whether it was accidental or deliberate.
