U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said Washington has achieved “some progress” in negotiations with Iran but stressed that a final agreement has not yet been reached.
Rubio stated that the U.S. administration still prefers a diplomatic solution while efforts continue to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and ensure international maritime security.
Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei said the current talks are focused on ending the war rather than details related to the nuclear file, noting that Qatari and Pakistani mediation efforts remain ongoing.
