Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced the completion of its operational preparations for the 1447 AH Hajj season as part of plans aimed at improving pilgrim movement and enhancing crowd management efficiency in the holy sites.
Preparations included training more than 30,000 field personnel on operating digital systems and managing operations, in addition to training thousands of group leaders and conducting virtual simulations to test the efficiency of procedures.
The ministry confirmed that the crowd management system relies on digital technologies and real-time data analysis to ensure rapid response and smooth movement of pilgrims during the rituals.
