Three Syrians were wounded by gunfire from the Israeli occupation forces, which penetrated on Tuesday into the countryside of Quneitra Province in the southwest of the country.
Syria’s state TV “Al-Ikhbariya” reported that the occupation forces used military vehicles, troop carriers, and fired smoke grenades during the operation.
SANA stated that five military vehicles loaded with soldiers set up a checkpoint between Khan Arnabeh and Ain Aisha before firing at civilians, causing injuries that were transferred to the National Golan Hospital.
The incident comes amid repeated tensions around the disengagement line in the occupied Golan.
