U.S. President Donald Trump reiterated that the ceasefire with Iran has ended while confirming that negotiations between the two sides are continuing.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump said Washington agreed to continue talks after a request from Tehran, while maintaining that the truce had concluded.

Axios, citing a source familiar with the matter, reported that a new round of negotiations could take place in Switzerland next week. The Emir of Qatar and Pakistan’s prime minister also stressed the importance of continuing efforts to reduce tensions through peaceful means.
