Tunisia’s General Labor Union (UGTT) unanimously decided on Thursday to hold a nationwide strike on January 21, 2025, to defend rights and freedoms, including union rights, wage negotiations, and preserving social dialogue gains.

The decision was reported on the union’s news site, Echaab News.
