Turkey Arrests 125 Suspected ISIS Members

Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced on Wednesday the arrest of 125 individuals suspected of belonging to ISIS during simultaneous security operations in 25 provinces.

The campaign comes as part of a series of wide-scale operations carried out by Ankara in recent days, which resulted in the detention of hundreds of suspects following the killing of three police officers in a clash with the group in Yalova province.

Authorities said the operations aim to thwart terrorist plots and safeguard national security.
