Russia and Ukraine witnessed a new round of military escalation after Ukrainian drones targeted energy facilities and military sites near Saint Petersburg.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the strikes hit an oil facility and several Russian military installations.

Meanwhile, Russian authorities reported that seven people were killed and 11 others injured after a passenger bus in the Donetsk region was struck by a drone, as fighting between the two sides continues.
