The Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) has announced that the first phase of ticket sales for the FIFA World Cup 2026 will begin on September 10 through an exclusive presale lottery for Visa cardholders, the tournament’s official payment technology partner.

Fans can register to enter the lottery by visiting FIFA.com/tickets no later than September 19. A FIFA Ticketing Account (FIFA ID) must be created prior to submitting a request.

Winners of the lottery will be selected at random and notified via email starting September 30. A dedicated purchase window will follow in October, depending on ticket availability.

The 2026 edition of the FIFA World Cup is set to be the largest in the tournament’s history, featuring 48 teams competing in 104 matches.
