Russia’s Defense Ministry said Monday that its forces had taken control of two more settlements in eastern Ukraine: Andriivska Obshchyna in the Donetsk region and Novosoloshino in the Zaporizhzhia region.
The ministry said units of the Vostok group had advanced deep into Ukrainian defenses and seized Novosoloshino, while also reporting the defeat of Ukrainian units in several areas of Kharkiv region.
The announcement came less than 24 hours after Moscow said it had taken control of Kodyivka in Kharkiv region and Pervomaryivka in Donetsk region.
