Iran and European Troika to Hold Nuclear Talks in Geneva on Monday

Tasnim News Agency reported on Sunday that Iran and the European troika — Germany, France, and the United Kingdom — will resume nuclear negotiations in Geneva on Monday at the level of deputy foreign ministers.

According to a diplomatic source cited by the agency, the talks will focus on Iran’s nuclear program and the issue of lifting sanctions imposed on Tehran.

The Iranian delegation will be led by Majid Takht-Ravanchi, while the European side will be represented by the deputy foreign ministers of the three countries.

This round of discussions follows a joint phone call held last Friday between the foreign ministers of Germany, France, and the United Kingdom, along with the European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, and Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, aimed at reviving diplomatic engagement over the nuclear file.
