Turkey announced on Friday that it will sever all economic and trade relations with Israel and close its airspace to Israeli aircraft.

Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stated in a press conference that the decision responds to what he described as “massacres” committed by Israel against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. Fidan warned that Israel’s actions aim to fully occupy Gaza and undermine the two-state solution, according to Anadolu Agency.
