The Health Ministry in Gaza said Monday that the death toll from Israel’s ongoing war on the enclave since October 7, 2023, has risen to 65,344, with 166,795 others wounded.

In its daily update, the ministry reported that hospitals received 61 bodies and 220 injured people in the past 24 hours as Israeli attacks continued.

The statement added that many victims remain trapped under the rubble of destroyed homes and buildings, as rescue and civil defense teams are unable to reach them due to the dangerous security situation.
