ICJ Orders Israeli Occupation to Facilitate Aid Access to Gaza

The International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague ruled that the Israeli occupation is obliged to allow humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip and to support UN agencies, including UNRWA.

The court said Israel failed to prove its claims that UNRWA employees were linked to Hamas, stressing that blocking food and medicine to civilians violates international law.

It called for ensuring basic humanitarian needs in Gaza amid an unstable ceasefire.
