Tens of Thousands Rally in The Hague Demanding Urgent Climate Action

Around 45,000 people marched through The Hague just days before the Dutch elections, urging the next government to take decisive measures to combat climate change and end fossil fuel subsidies.

The protest, organized by the “Climate Crisis Coalition,” aimed to revive environmental concerns at the forefront of the national debate, following the election campaigns’ focus on migration and housing.

Demonstrators carried banners from Greenpeace and Fridays for Future calling for immediate climate justice.
