Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met on Monday in Beijing with his Syrian counterpart, Asaad Al-Sheebani, to discuss several areas of mutual interest, emphasizing their commitment to rebuilding Syria and improving living conditions for the Syrian people.

The two sides agreed to combat terrorism in all its forms and to enhance coordination and cooperation in security matters. They also highlighted the importance of the China-Arab Cooperation Forum in advancing collective collaboration between China and Arab countries, according to China’s official news agency Xinhua.
