U.S. Defense Secretary Approved Second Strike on Alleged Drug Ship off Venezuela

White House spokeswoman Caroline Levitt confirmed that U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Higsith approved a second strike on a vessel allegedly carrying drugs off the coast of Venezuela in September.

Levitt said during a press briefing that the second strike resulted in the deaths of two individuals who remained on the burning ship following the first attack, emphasizing that the decision was based on claims regarding the vessel’s alleged drug cargo.
