Over 100,000 protesters gathered in the streets of Sofia to demand the resignation of Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov, accusing his government of corruption.

These demonstrations are the largest recent protests and come ahead of Bulgaria’s upcoming entry into the Eurozone in January.
