The Gaza Health Ministry said on Monday that the Palestinian death toll from Israeli operations since October 2023 has risen to 70,937, with 171,192 wounded.

The ministry said in a statement that over the past 48 hours, hospitals recorded 12 deaths, including four new fatalities and eight recovered from under rubble, along with seven injuries.

The statement did not provide further details on the incidents, while Israel continues to violate a ceasefire in place since October 10, with ongoing shelling and gunfire targeting Palestinians.
