The Israeli army attacked Palestinian fishing boats off the coast of the Gaza Strip on Tuesday using machine guns, confiscated one boat and arrested five fishermen, according to local sources.

The incident comes despite a ceasefire agreement that came into force on October 10, 2025, which Palestinian sources say Israel has violated hundreds of times, resulting in the killing and injury of hundreds of civilians.
