NATO announced it will strengthen cooperation with the United States, Denmark, and Greenland to prevent Russia and China from expanding their influence in the Arctic region.

The alliance’s secretary-general and Denmark’s prime minister agreed to intensify security efforts amid the growing strategic importance of the Arctic.
