Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on Sunday that direct talks involving Ukraine, Russia and the United States would resume this week in Abu Dhabi, as part of efforts to find a way out of the war in Ukraine.
In a post on social media platform X, Zelenskiy said the next round of trilateral meetings had been scheduled for Feb. 4 and 5 in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.
Zelenskiy has previously said Ukraine is open to trilateral negotiations with Moscow and Washington, with the possibility of European participation at a later stage.
He added that Ukraine’s membership in the European Union remains a key component of the country’s future security guarantees.
