Two Palestinians died Thursday evening after being shot by Israeli forces south of the city of Nablus in the occupied West Bank.

Meanwhile, Israeli authorities continue to close the Al-Aqsa Mosque for the fourteenth consecutive day, preventing worshippers from reaching the site during the final Friday of Ramadan.

The closure comes amid an ongoing Israeli escalation in the West Bank that has resulted in the deaths of more than 1,127 Palestinians and injuries to around 11,700 since October 2023.
