A Palestinian was killed in an Israeli drone strike east of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, while several others were injured in an airstrike targeting the vicinity of the Islamic University in Gaza City, according to medical sources and correspondents.

Israeli forces reportedly continued firing toward Palestinian homes and tents in the northeastern part of Nuseirat refugee camp and southern Gaza.

The attacks coincided with operations involving the demolition of homes using explosives east of Gaza City and in Bureij refugee camp, as well as naval bombardment of the city’s coastline.

Medical sources also reported that a young girl had died from injuries sustained after being shot by Israeli forces in Deir al-Balah.

According to Palestinian medical sources cited in the report, the cumulative death toll since October 7, 2023, had reached 74,540 Palestinians killed and 175,678 injured.
