The Palestinian Red Crescent Society announced the medical evacuation of 17 patients from the Gaza Strip, accompanied by 33 companions, through the Rafah crossing, in coordination with the World Health Organization.

The move comes amid mounting pressure on Gaza’s healthcare system, which is suffering from severe shortages of medicines and medical supplies.

The organization affirmed its continued efforts to facilitate evacuations and transfer critical cases to hospitals abroad despite security challenges and border closures.
