The head of the local authorities in Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, announced on Wednesday that five people were killed in a Ukrainian drone attack.

Aksyonov stated that “five people were unfortunately killed as a result of an enemy drone strike targeting the city of Dzhankoy,” without providing further details on the extent of the damage.

The incident comes amid ongoing military tensions between Russia and Ukraine.
