FIFA revealed that a technical issue within its payment system resulted in approximately 60 fans receiving World Cup tickets free of charge.

The organization said affected ticket holders had been notified and asked to complete payment within seven days to retain their reservations.

FIFA apologized for the incident and confirmed that the seats remain reserved while payment procedures are finalized.
