The Israeli military announced on Monday, June 8, 2026, that its air force carried out strikes against several targets within the petrochemical complex in Mahshahr in southwestern Iran.

According to the military, the operation followed Iranian missile launches toward Israel and targeted military facilities in western and central Iran based on intelligence guidance.

Iranian state television reported explosions in Tehran, Tabriz, and Isfahan, while Iranian media also reported blasts near Karaj.

No official casualty or damage figures have been released so far.
