Hamas announced on Monday the dissolution of the Emergency Government Committee, which had been administering the Gaza Strip, and confirmed the resignation of its chairman, paving the way for the transfer of administrative responsibilities to the National Gaza Administration Committee.
The movement also reported that six Palestinians were killed and more than 20 others wounded in Israeli strikes targeting several areas across Gaza since early Monday, while reaffirming its efforts with other Palestinian factions to uphold the ceasefire agreement and implement its provisions.
