Southern Lebanon witnessed a new escalation as Israeli forces carried out drone strikes, artillery shelling, and demolition operations targeting several towns, including Mayfadoun, Nabatieh al-Fawqa, Hadatha, and al-Tiri.

The Lebanese Army announced that one of its soldiers was killed and that an officer and another serviceman were injured when a suspicious object exploded in the town of al-Mansouri.

Israeli media also reported that an interceptor missile was launched after an aerial target was mistakenly identified in an area where Israeli forces were deployed.
