Iraqi Kurdistan authorities said Monday that two drones targeted the office of the Kurdistan Regional Government’s prime minister and the residence of the head of its security agency, saying they were launched from Iran.
The Counter-Terrorism Service said the two drones, identified as Hadeid-110 models, targeted the Pirmam area, about 30 kilometers north of Erbil, with no casualties reported.
Kurdistan Regional Government Prime Minister Masrour Barzani condemned the attack, describing it as a dangerous escalation and a direct threat to the region’s security and stability. Iran did not immediately comment on the incident.
