The Democratic Republic of the Congo Football Federation has reaffirmed its commitment to fulfilling all health and organizational requirements for the national team’s friendly match against Chile in Spain, despite controversy surrounding a local decision to cancel the fixture over Ebola-related concerns.
The federation stated that all international health protocols are being fully implemented and that coordination with Spanish authorities and sporting bodies remains ongoing to ensure the match can proceed as part of the team’s final preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
