U.S. President Donald Trump has expressed skepticism over Iran’s latest proposal to end the war, according to media reports.
While not outright rejecting it, Trump is reportedly dissatisfied with the offer, particularly because it does not address Iran’s nuclear program, a key concern for Washington.
Sources say the proposal includes reopening the Strait of Hormuz and ending hostilities, with nuclear negotiations to follow at a later stage.
U.S. officials believe the plan falls short of core requirements, raising doubts about the prospects for a near-term agreement.
