Ukraine has summoned the Israeli ambassador in Kyiv for a reprimand over Israel’s reception of a vessel allegedly carrying grain from Russian-occupied Ukrainian territories.

Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said Ukraine would file a formal protest, warning of consequences related to what he described as “illegal trade in stolen Ukrainian grain.”

He criticized Israel for ignoring previous requests not to accept such shipments, cautioning that the issue could harm bilateral relations.

Kyiv had earlier warned it would pursue diplomatic and legal measures if the vessel were allowed to dock, calling it a violation of its rights.
