A White House official confirmed that US President Donald Trump will attend the G7 summit in France next month despite ongoing disagreements between Washington and its allies over several issues, including the conflict with Iran and tariff policies.

The summit, bringing together Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States, is scheduled to take place from June 15 to June 17 in the French Alpine resort town of Évian.
