Yemen’s Houthi movement announced on Saturday that it had targeted Al-Nasr military camp and a naval military base in Aden, following reports of three explosions near the city’s airport and Coast Guard headquarters.

Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree said the operation targeted military gatherings allegedly being prepared under the supervision of Saudi officers.

He did not provide details about the weapons used or the casualties and damage resulting from the reported strikes.

In a related development, Saudi Arabia reported that debris from the interception of two ballistic missiles launched by the Houthis toward the Mecca and Medina regions had fallen in those areas.
