Azerbaijan and Armenia signed a historic peace agreement on Friday, mediated by U.S. President Donald Trump, during a summit hosted at the White House aimed at ending decades of conflict between the two countries.
Trump confirmed that the agreement stipulates a definitive cessation of hostilities and opens the door for cooperation between the parties.
He also announced that the United States will sign multiple cooperation agreements with Azerbaijan and Armenia in various fields to support stability and development in the region.
