Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni announced that a pro-Palestinian organization has filed a complaint against her before the International Criminal Court, accusing her and the ministers of defense and foreign affairs of complicity in war crimes against Palestinians by supporting the Israeli occupation with weapons and military aid.

Meloni said the complaint alleges “the Italian government’s complicity in genocide in Gaza,” while reports indicated that additional officials from the defense group Leonardo may be added to the list of defendants.
