The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Thursday that it handed over evidence to the United States, claiming it proves a foiled Ukrainian drone attack targeting President Vladimir Putin’s residence.

The ministry stated that it decrypted navigation data from one of the Ukrainian drones, which allegedly revealed a planned strike on Putin’s residence in the Novgorod region of Russia in late December. The materials were reportedly delivered to officials from the U.S. defense attaché office at the American Embassy in Moscow.
