The internationally recognized Yemeni government expanded its control across several provinces, including Hadramawt, Mahra, Shabwa, Abyan, and Lahj, amid reports of advances toward Aden and al-Dhalea, which are held by the Southern Transitional Council.

The pro-presidential Giants Brigades imposed a curfew in Aden from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. after seizing the city’s international airport.

The developments come amid rapid military shifts that could reshape power balances between the government and the STC.
