The Russian Defense Ministry announced control over the town of Novopoykovskoye in Zaporizhzhia province, marking the second town captured in less than 24 hours following the takeover of Belogorie.

Units of the “Dnieper” group inflicted heavy human and material losses on Ukrainian forces, including approximately 50 fatalities and the destruction of vehicles and field artillery.

Reports indicate that Russian troops are advancing toward the nearby town of Prymorsky, near strategic Zaporizhzhia city, with fighting continuing on multiple axes in southeastern Ukraine—a major Russian maneuver since mid-last year.
