Interim Syrian President Ahmed Al-Sharaa announced a ceasefire deal between the Syrian army and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) that includes integrating SDF units into the national military institution.

The agreement follows government advances in eastern regions after limited clashes with SDF forces.

The Ministry of Defense confirmed that fighting has halted along all frontlines, although no official statement has yet been issued by SDF leadership.

The deal is seen as a major step toward reunifying Syria’s military and administrative structures in the north and northeast since the war began.
