Five Palestinians, including a woman and a child, were reportedly killed on Thursday in Israeli airstrikes and gunfire across the Gaza Strip, according to Civil Defense and hospital sources.
Civil Defense spokesperson Mahmoud Basal said a 12-year-old boy was shot dead in Bureij refugee camp. Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital reported two additional deaths near Al-Zawayda following shelling and a drone attack.
Meanwhile, Gaza’s Health Ministry warned of critical shortages of laboratory testing materials and blood-bank supplies, threatening diagnostic services.
The ministry reported more than 1,600 Palestinian deaths since the ceasefire took effect on October 10, 2025, alleging continued Israeli military operations.
