The Syrian army announced the opening of two humanitarian corridors to deliver aid to Kobani and Hasakah province, amid an influx of displaced people and a severe shortage of essential services.

The step follows a 15-day extension of the ceasefire with Kurdish forces.

Meanwhile, Syria’s Civil Defense accused the SDF of violating the truce by shelling areas in northern Aleppo, though no casualties were reported.
