UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk announced that around 90 civilians were killed and 142 others injured by drone strikes in North and South Kordofan states over a period exceeding two weeks.
He said the attacks—attributed to both the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces—hit markets, health facilities, residential neighborhoods, and a World Food Programme convoy, worsening civilian suffering and restricting humanitarian access.
He warned of the risk of repeated, large-scale violations.
