Iran Denies Reports of Interim Nuclear Deal with Washington

Iran has denied reports of an “interim agreement” with the United States regarding its nuclear program.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei said Tehran would accept a deal that guarantees its rights and lifts sanctions in exchange for nuclear restrictions, stressing the country’s readiness to respond to any attack.

A new round of talks is scheduled to be held in Geneva under Omani mediation, amid U.S. demands to halt uranium enrichment and rising regional tensions.
