At least 25 people were killed in flash floods in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, which disrupted air traffic and left drivers stranded for hours, bringing the nationwide death toll to 42.

Authorities also evacuated tourists and workers by air from the Maasai Mara National Reserve after heavy rainfall since March 6 flooded roads and submerged vehicles in several areas across Kenya.
